Driving long term marketing success for a fast-growing B2B firm

Interlink are a B2B lead generation business who work with enterprise level technology firms and their media agencies. Established in 2018, they are on a mission to transform the lead generation industry for the better, with a transparent approach, great people and innovative technology. With a focus on quality results for their clients, they achieved early success with organic sales and marketing, but engaged Piper’s services in 2021 having recognised a need to develop a long term strategic approach to marketing.

Although Interlink had experienced organic growth, they lacked a cohesive marketing strategy to firmly establish their reputation in the marketplace. The challenge was not only to increase visibility but also to communicate their strengths in a crowded and highly competitive sector.

Actions we undertook

1. Rebrand

We conducted a full rebranding exercise for Interlink, creating a more mature and modern look that better aligned with the company's people-centric focus and forward-thinking vision.The brand’s mission, vision, and values were revamped to highlight Interlink’s unique strengths, positioning them as a trusted partner for B2B lead generation.

 

2. New Website

To enhance the company’s digital presence, we developed a new, user-friendly website. The new site featured clear, engaging copy developed by an expert copywriter, demystifying their technology offerings and placing a strong emphasis on user experience. Warm, relatable imagery was incorporated to create an approachable and human-centric feel.

 

3. Content Strategy

Piper created a comprehensive content plan to position Interlink as thought leaders in their industry. Through blogs, videos, photography, case studies, and whitepapers, Interlink’s expertise was showcased across multiple platforms, contributing to sustained engagement and lead nurturing.

 

4. Email Marketing

We set up an email marketing platform and developed a prospect nurture flow for leads captured as part of paid social campaigns.

 

5. LinkedIn Growth Strategy

Our team devised a LinkedIn strategy focused on both organic and paid activities. The strategy targeted growth in followers and increased engagement, elevating Interlink’s brand presence on a key B2B platform.

 

6. Sales Documentation Revamp

To support sales efforts, we worked with the internal team to review and revamp Interlink’s sales documentation.The new materials clearly communicated the company’s core strengths, mission, and culture, making a stronger case for Interlink’s value proposition to prospective clients.

 

Results

Over the course of four years, Piper’s tailored marketing approach resulted in significant, measurable improvementsfor Interlink:

 

  • LinkedIn Follower Growth: Achieved an impressive 1,118% increase from 761 followers in August 2021 to 9,269 by March 2025.
  • Website Traffic Growth: Boosted website traffic by 192%, from an average of 561 visitors per month in Q3 2021 to 1,636 per month in Q1 2025.
  • Email Marketing Performance: Delivered an outstanding prospect email open rate of 54% and a click-through rate of 11%—far surpassing the B2B industry averages of 20.8% and 3.2%, respectively.
